Motorcyclists' Experience Depends on Businesses & Residents

STURGIS, SD – According to Brenda Vasknetz, Director of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the Black Hills riding and rally experience starts when motorcyclists begin thinking and planning their trip. This experience continues to develop with every organization and person they interact with as they travel in the Black Hills. While most riders come for the annual rally, thousands of others journey to the Black Hills throughout the riding season. Impressed with what they find, some might even return to hunt, ski, snowmobile, and gamble in the off-season.

If you've been to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, then you know about Laura Klock. She is a big part of the rally and for good reason. Laura, is and always will be a prominent figure in the motorcycling world! She is a business owner (with husband Brian owner of  Klock Werks Kustom Cycles in Mitchell, South Dakota), she is a certified Rider Coach, Motor Maid, member of the Mitchell Safehouse Foundation Board---oh,yeah, she also happens to hold the world land speed motorcycling record. In fact, her two daughters, are also record holders making the trio the first mother, daughter, daughter in land speed racing history to hold records at the same time!
